At the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (TIPS)’s Scientific Meeting held online on December 04, 2021, the topic of "Human biomonitoring of selected ingredients in cosmetics" was presented by Dr. F. Sotoudegan. Although the cosmetics are the major sources of several oestrogenic chemicals, the toxicity of those chemicals labelled as ingredients in cosmetics have not been thoroughly investigated.
In this meeting “human biomonitoring” as an assessment of human exposure to various environmental oestrogenic chemicals present in cosmetic products were introduced.
