At the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (TIPS)’s journal club meeting held online on February 08, 2021, the topic of “Postbiotics - A Step Beyond Pre- and Probiotics” was presented by B. Omidi Sarajar. In this meeting, an overview of the postbiotic term, including health benefits and signaling pathways involved in their protective effects, as well as their applications in foods and pharmaceuticals were criticized.
